Geriatric Psychiatry Services
Telehealth psychiatric care for your residents and clients, covered by Medicare — with no service fee to your facility or agency.
Initial Assessment
A comprehensive geriatric psychiatric evaluation to establish a proper diagnosis and review the appropriateness of all current medications.
Medication Management
Consistent visits focused on improving emotional and behavioral functioning, using the minimum medication necessary to manage symptoms — not the maximum a resident happens to tolerate.
Quarterly Treatment Plan Reviews
We collaborate with your care team, reviewing pharmacy reports and treatment plans to reassess medications and behavioral issues, and identify opportunities for gradual dose reduction where clinically appropriate.
Pharmacy Reviews
We address pharmacy recommendations around medication adjustment, polypharmacy, and duplication, with documentation that supports your facility's own recordkeeping and licensing review process.
Gradual Dose Reduction Program
Ongoing tracking of every dose reduction attempt — successful or not — as part of responsible, resident-centered psychotropic medication management.
Who Should Be Referred
Residents currently on an antipsychotic, antidepressant, anti-anxiety medication, mood stabilizer, stimulant, hypnotic, or any other psychotropic medication
Mood concerns: depression, anxiety, withdrawal, delusions, hallucinations, paranoia
Behavioral concerns: physical or verbal aggression, wandering, hoarding, sexually inappropriate behavior
Suicidal thoughts or statements
